MS SQL Sync Toolkit is a wonderful tool which you can use to compare and synchronize the structure of SQL Server databases. This is useful in a development environment when changes made to a local database need to be copied to a database on a remote server. Recently this meant spending hours trawling through database schema, hand-generating migration scripts. Now MS SQL Sync Toolkit will automate this process for you. It will compare and synchronize database objects, including tables, stored procedures, views, user-defined functions. Program can make a snapshot of a local database and save it as packed XML file. Then snapshot could be send to DBA of remote server, and program make synchronization of databases on a remote server automatically.
